Default Time Sensitive: Motorcycle Garage door opener

    Hey folks...

Lowes is having a sale on Garage door remotes (Chamberlain, Genie, Sommer) for $20 each. usually they're about $35-$40
    http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/9510...lain-or-sommer

Anyway, I figured this would be an excellent reason to install/mod your bike and integrate a "flash/high beam" garage door opener.
    Instructions here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Inst...ycle/?ALLSTEPS
Or google "motorcycle garage door opener" for some other DIY.

The above Instructables uses the turn-signal cancel, but I figure the same logic can be applied to using the flash relay.

    Anyway... worth a thought.

Limited time sale on those remotes, so consider soon

Sounds cool, i just installed a key pad outside cuz i hated going all the way in the house to open the garage. But it's a neat thing to have on the bike.
I miss you nephew, always with me until we meet again.

I bought a mini garage door opener keyfob and put it with the motorcycle key. It can accomodate 3 different doors.
